I had a long conversation today with an old friend. He stated plans are already in the works for Cigarette to build a cat, apparently in the 38/39 foot range.

Does anyone know anything about this?

I heard that since they have the new 39 'Gun, they're going to cut the old 38 mold in half.

I believe the USA Racing 39 was a 36 cut in half and stretched. US Customs sold most of their Blue Lightnings but they still have a couple in service. Aronow built the cat because of a no compete clause when he sold off Cigarette.

I hope they mod the bottom and add some steps. This one looks like a straight bottom.

Nice oldie, but goodie. Reburb/Rerig by Mark McManus of the AP*CHE Powerboats (anyone ever heard of them?? ) ????? I don't know why, in todays world of digital cameras and cheap technology, someone can't take/post some better pics of something they want to sell You know ,,,, BIGGER, BETTER quality, more angles, different views, maybe even, possibly a friggen bow shot showing the pontoons! Duh!

Phil has one of those at his shop (the old one)....It's a trip to see that thing in person.
