Default jack plates manual or hydraulic

is there any real bennefit it using a hyd over manual other than the the obvious "push putton adjustment" ?

Can anyone reccomned a good brand? need something for a 200ish hp eggbeater.

Also what kind of $$ do theese things sell for?

Try CMC they have a variety of plates A 5'' setback should be around $275

I have used a CMC Trim plate for an old outboard and it was awesome. I never thought it would work as well as it did. I would definitly get a hydraulic lift, manual sucks and you will never be happy. Would you want manual trim tabs or drive trim? The same applies here.

PS Where the hell were you during the PC poker Run?

I was in Michigan picking up the boat that I need the jackplate for. I was at the poker run party tho and didnt see you anywhere.

Get the hydraulic. Bob's Machine has always had good plates.
