Anyone on this site have any personal experience with engines and drives from Teague? In particular their 720HP carburated engine and their Platinum XR drives.

I've purchased props and many other items from them over the years but never engines or drives. They have been very competitive pricewise and have always been very good in customer service in all my dealings.

Any input is appreciated.

We put a set in an '04 37 A/T. Very happy with everything from the factory support to the non-breaking 150 hours on the packages. That has impressed me the most.

Teague even came here and spent time with my staff during the install!

Never bought anything but props. But...my buddy and I were rescue boats at the Ventura races. His boat lost an impeller and Bob and his crew jumped on it. They had it replaced and tested like a Nascar pit crew and he was back in the water in no time, and all at no charge. That earned a lot of points in my book.

Bob and the team are great! We use his Platinum drives on our Super Vee Lightning Strikes, which Bob throttles with me in. I have had a few of his motor packages in boats and had great success in both performance and reliability. Great Company to deal with.
