From what I heard it was a H2X. That is crazy fast for a 24 foot boat.

Thats not the boat. I did meet the guys that built that Baja this last weekend at the shootout and they said they didn't bring a boat down. Rasta can tell you for sure.

I bet it's another guy on here that was talking about it a year or so ago on the Baja forum. I think it was under the thread 'fastest baja' or something like that. He said he had an H2X that ran near 110. My 24' Outlaw was scary at 85...No way would I do 110 in an H2X!!!

Danny owns the baja here in Grand Rapids. It has an 1100 hp motor built in Muskegon with a little help from Ben at Precision Power in Grand Haven. Danny said it was still pulling when he crossed the line. Nutty NK

The announcer said it was a 27' Baja but didnt know the power. I'm telling ya that that boat just took a set and smoked! ! ! I'm dying to hear what kind of power was in that thing. I am sure it wasnt a H2X or any square transom Outlaw. It had the euro back end. At first I thought it was a 29 outlaw with twins cause it was running so hard, then the announcer said it was a 27 single. it was impressive indeed. Greg
