Prop Nut Torque Setting

When installing a prop, what torque setting should the nut be tightened to? Should it differ between drive/boat types or all be the same no matter what the outdrive? (This case being a MerCruiser 330 TRS)

Mercruiser lists torque,if memory serves me correctly at a minimum of 55 ft/lbs for Rubber hub props. Not sure about solids but I will look at the manuel when I get to work and post a better answer later this evening. Ed merc cert.#MI2256c

I for one would like to know who uses a torque wrench on their props!
Forever I have just tightened it down, holding a prop blade with one hand and then when it feels good, I tighten it more to get those tabs to line up. Then punch in the tabs and GO!

I`m with Kent / Mudball. You guys can say that you torque the prop nut, but I`d like to see you actually pull the ol` torque wrench out next time you install a prop.
At least now I know what the proper torque should be......
