Default Diesel Go-Fast

Are there any diesel go fast boats for sale? Is this practical as far as boats go? I am researching boats to do the great loop in and am considering a diesel go fast. My other choices are fast trawlers.

Dollar used to have a diesel Sonic with surface drives and twin 800's. The boat ran close to 100.

Thanks for the info. I am more interested in dependability and cruising ability than top speed.

May want to contact Hustler. They have put diesels in a number of their performance hulls.
