Well, I took one step towards getting a boat in the spring. We stepped up for an 05 F150 Regular Cab FX4 with a tow package. It is supposed to tow about 8100lbs. The boats that we are looking at should be able to be towed by this. 28 Pantera, 28 AT, and now 288 Sunsation. Had a strong eye on Superboat, but I just don't think I can have a deposit on one in time to have it built for next season.

I know, I know People will say I need a diesel, but most of our lakes are pretty close. Occasionally a 4 hour tow to LOTO will be the max. The F150 should do fine.

Anyway, the new vehicle excitement is set in, so I thought I'd share!

I think you are at your limit so take her easy. My brother has the same truck and it is sharp. I like the power back windows and stereo system.
