Default Bravo III "Diesel"

Hello Sirs!

I have a Bravo III "Diesel" drive. When I am shifting forward it takes 3-5 sec. for gear to be engaged, when going into reverse it goes in quite hard.
Do anyone know what could be the problem?

I have tested to shift with the short cable that goes into the drive, same problem.

The engine is a Yanmar 6lp 315 hp and 750 Nm torque.

Thanks in advance!

Regards Jesper, Sweden

sounds like the shift adjustment is off. You need to pull the drive to adjust it correctly. If you want to do it yourself it's pretty easy all you ned are a couple of tools from Merc that cost about 40 dollars (US) and a factory manual, the adjustment procedure has several steps and your really need a manual in front of you if you are not familiar.
