No I have not tried the Bravo 3 xr, is it much stronger?
The thing that happens is that forward gear gets difficult to engage like its slipping,(does cone get worn quickly?)
My local Merc mechanic here in Sweden says it is a common problem with diesel engines coupled to B3
The engine gives approx. 560 ft lbs torque, and the boat is a deep V weighing 5000 lbs, 30 ft long
