I notice on my Excalibur when turning full lock I get a vibration. Right or left doesnt matter. As soon as I let go of the full lock postion, the vibration goes away. Twin TRS drives, factory steering. Any ideas?

I would check gimbel and u-joints, and alignment. I have an alpha one that had a vibration when full lock and it was u joints, could not perceive and wear/play in them but they were bad.

Are you talking about while running or in nuetral ??
Most power steering pumps will vibrate when you turn the wheel full lock in either direction. Think of how the pump sounds in a car when you turn the wheel all the way.

I think he said he had TRS drives. Good luck finding an alignment tool for those, cause they are VERY rare. I have one that I NEVER let out of my sight. But, that's really probably not it. Pull the drives and check U-joints and gimble bearings. Something there will need service and when you attend to it, all will be well. And also know that any outdrive is under strain and will make an audible complaint when forced to it's turn or trim maximum, even when in perfect condition. --- Jer
