Default 38 zx insurance

I'm looking at a 2000 38 zx with merc. 600sc's and was quoted over $4800.00 on insurance!!

Is that about right?? What is everyone else paying??? (You don't have to tell me the exact # but and idea would be great!)

2001 33ZX 500 EFI's $940.00 a year ($2500.00 deductible) through American National. This was far less expensive than any other place I checked. Yes they do know the boat runs in excess of 75 mph. Hope this helps.

Rick,
Do you have a number for American National? I'm paying $1900 for the exact same boat with another company. Thanks.

I pay about $3,900.00 a year for a 33zx with 500efi with worldwide marine insurance, but they where the only people that would write me @ 21 with a $1,000.00 deductible. So i'm sure they can help you.

No, this was the first place I checked because I have my insurance with them now. I will try total Dollar and the others mentioned. Maybe the 600sc's are blowing the top off the premium??

What would the top speed be of a 2000 38ZX with Merc. 600sc's and Bravos on IMCO boxes???????????? I was thinking about 80-85mph........

Thanks for all the help guys!!!
