I've decided I'm going to have to buy a trailer for my 1984 26' stinger. For those of you with this boat, have a few questions:
1) what is the weight of the boat - i.e. how many pounds should the trailer be rated for.
2) what kind of trailer are you using?
3) anyplace to get good used trailers?
thanks for any help
Han.

I was in the same situation as you. I decided to get an aluminum trailer made new for me by someone who ownes a 260 Stinger, so he knows exactly how to make the bunks right.
There made by Pirate Marine,..I chose the Sportline model. A very nice trailer has surge disk on one axle. I paid $3,500, it's rated for 7900 lbs.
A dry stinger w/ stock 260 merc's will weight in at 5764 lbs.
Remember a Stinger will hold almost 800 lbs of fuel (full, 128 gal, @ 6.25 Lbs per gal at 75F)
Message me for more info,....I'd also like to talk to you about your Stinger.
