Cat vs. V
Any insight out there on Cats vs. Vs? We have always boated on performance Vs growing up, but today I had a chance to drive a cat and really enjoyed it. The cat was very stable at speeds over 65mph and smoother in the 1 to 2 foot chop than the Vs riding along side it. What are the drawbacks of the catamaran designs?

Hey, Rob I'm glad you to play in a kitty, pretty cool huh?! I'm leaning towards a cat, probably in the 30' to 36' range with moderate power. I've researched the insurance issue with a cat, yes it is higher than a V, but not as bad as some of the horror stories you've heard.
