Default Fountain Stop????????????????

I am looking to purchase a trailer for my 302 Baja. One dealer mentioned a "FOUNTAIN STOP" that goes in from of the winch stand. He indicated that it helps on steep ramps. Does anyone know what he is talking about???? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Dail

Sounds like a winch stand that stops 8 feet from the front of the trailer so the beak doesn't reach the back of the tow vehicle...

The nose of a foutain will hit the winch if you are backed into a steep ramp, happen to me once you learn after that

I think you guys are on the right tract. I am thinking it is a additional bow receiver that cradles the bow before the winch stand. Certainly would be necessary on a Beek Boat, but could help with any boat on a steep ramp. Anyone have any photo's?

Thanks,
Dail

Nothing to do with Fountains, it's the trailer. Seen it on a Myco under a Cig, and a Manning under a Powerquest.
Basically 2) 4x6's in a V to hold the bows, with the winch on a separate stand. Never did like that setup as yourboat can slide on past the stop under a heavy brake if there are no safety straps.
