i live in Detroit and I wanted to gage some areas with a moisture meter. I would only need it for a few hours. I'd rather pay someone to rent instead of wasting money on a surveyor.. thanks in advance.........

if it's on a trailer you might be able to take it to a fiberglass shop and have them check it out for you. i know my fiberglass guy has a moisture meter, and when i had him fix a couple problems the surveyor missed, he checked out the rest of the stringers and transom for me to verify that it was dry.

not that surveyors are a waist on money - of course. just don't have 300.00 for em...figured i'd clear that up before its taken wrong..
