Update your Anti Virus
There is a NASTY virus going around. It will load up and when you shut off your computer it will not allow it to boot back up. You can not even boot up in safe mode. My brother is an IT guy and it has already effected 7 of his customers computers today.
Symantec already has a fix I know. So make sure you update ASAP and you should be fine
