That is a Kiekhaefer shifter by Mercury. Not pretty much all performance boats came with that shifter till 2001 or 2002.

Anyone swap this shifter out for the new stainless Livorsi controls that now come standard with the current Outlaws ? If so, was it a simple swap or is there something someone should know before buying the new one ?

They are SWEET!
Call Fred at Trick Marine. I bought them $300.00 cheaper from him then I could have direct from Livorsi.
