Is this a good price for a 454 on E-bay
340HP Mercruiser Chevy 454 Complete Drop In v8
Complete rebuild Includes 2:1 Transmission 7.4 liter Item number: 4581720950
3 hrs left.....$1,051.00 I put a bid on it just for the hell of it yesterday but I just checked and Im still the hi bidder
. I need another engine like I need another hole in the head.

That definitly would have been a great deal if it wasnt bull.I won the item and the guy is not willing to give it up for the won price.Im disgusted with ebay if they dont interviene,and get me the motor.Apparantly the seller is only selling it for someone.Now they are lying by telling ebay that we both agreed to cancel the transaction which is NOT true.Then the seller finally sends me an email 5 hours after the auction end that the motor has been sold locally.
Anyone know a good lawyer?
People like this should be behind bars!!!

Yea that is B.S.. I also placed a bid. But after a day or so when I was the only hi bidder at $1,051.00 I was getting worried thinking maybe someone knew something I didn't. 
Your kind of lucky in a way. He could of took your money and kept motor . If you read the sellers history profile he has a negative feed back from doing that exact thing. Let us know the outcome.

you have to check thier feedback! if they dont have much feedback or neg feedback pass on the item if its a big tivket item. i bought my cig and dually on ebay and did well. but did get f ed for 400 bucks once so you have to be careful. hope you get him to sell it to you for what you bid.

I was going to bid on a 950 hp blower motor last week. It was brand new, fully dressed, all good parts, built by an engineer with 30 yrs experience, blah blah blah. Auction had no reserve and high bid was $7300.00!!! Think the deal went through?
