Default Fishing Pics

Ran out 70 miles and fished Tuesday. Only negative was we were so busy catching fish I only got 2 pictures and both were sunset on the way home.

Managed to pull

1 wahoo 25+lb
2 snapper 25+lb
1 grouper 20+lb
1 trigger fish 12 lb

And so much smaller stuff I don't even know what it was the cooler had about 12-15 fish and, we threw back over a hundred various fish once we started grouper/snapper fishing. Half the crap we caught I had no clue what it was. Of 4 of us 3 were rookies so next week we will hopefully do a little better. The ocean was like a lake all morning which was pretty amazing.

Yeah, my friends are lazy though, they just drop the cooler off and let our buddy at the fish market clean and package everything. I sure as heck wasn't gonna clean all those fish after a 17 hour day, so I decided not to protest. I'm leaving next monday for St. Thomas where the big fish are only about 10-20 miles offshore

Triggerfish are a great fish. Try using an electric knife to clean them.

I've tried the electric knife, that is what I use for everything else. Even it is still a pain with the trigger fish if you ask me. I agree they are god eating but not worth the cleaning from me so I throw em back when I hook em.

Dropping off your fish to be cleaned is tottaly cheating man, that is half the fun. Some of the best time me and my father spend together is after a fishing trip, one of us cleans the boat and the other cleans the fish, it also involves several cases of beer.
