Angry Red Eyes Dock Bar No More 93 Octane

As of Wednesday October 21, I was informed Red Eyes will no longer be stocking 93 octane gas. Only 89 from now on.

They sell something other than tequila and bikini contests? How could I have missed that?

I know that in the Tulsa area at a minimum, and possibly all of Oklahoma, 93 Octane is no longer available. My neighbor across the street manages a convenience store. He said that the suppliers aren't making it any more. Sinclair was the last around here to make it, and they stopped about 1 - 2 months ago. Sucks cause I have to buy $4.75/gal race gas for the Mustang now!

I wouldn't be surprised to see the supply dwindling away.

Sounds like a pretty poor business decision.

We have a shop here that sells 101 unleaded. I'd have the thing re-tuned if I had to buy the 112 or 116. Not to mention, those are leaded.

Not really. They got tired of seeing people pull up, noticing that they only sold 93 octane gas and then untying and going across the narrows to the marina that sold 87.

Fairwinds on the Magothy stopped selling 93 too, just 89. Havn't been to Deep Creek lately to see if they have 93 anymore. Glad the eggbeaters are happy on 89.

What's wrong with two tanks? There are a lot of 93-thirsty boats docked there and that frequent there.

I can gripe. I don't by gas on the water unless extremely neccesary anyhow.
