Whatever happened to the Konrad shiftable drive that was suppose to debut at the 2005 Miami boat show but was blocked from being sold by that other sterndirve company from Wis at the last minute with some legal maneuvering?
I thought the bug bully was suppose to run out of legal options by the summer and that it would be on the market this season. How about an update? Is it still tied up in a legal battle or is the drive just not ready tech-wise?

hmmmm, maybe the WI company bought the rights and will now be marketing it this year after Miami....
Purely speculation on my part.

First of all I'd like to clear the air a bit. The rumors of any legal action are totally false. There is and never was any "blockage" or "legal maneuvering" by anyone.
Our shiftable drive project has been put on the back burner for a while. We have been so busy with other higher priority projects that we have not been working on the shiftable project very much.
I'll keep you posted,
