Hi. My boss has a place on Atlantic side at MM 81, have a report from his friend and neighbor fly fishing guide.....
water there surged about 4 feet and backwashed all sand and breakwall. A lot of trees down, branches, debris of landscaping and roof and siding. On his property, uprooted about 20-25 trees, lots of palm pods on grounds, sweep away some smaller landscaping. Tiki hut intact!! Not raining anymore and winds down to 50 mile an hour. Old highway is drivable as of a few hours ago, some power already restored. It's hard because all the news stations are reporting either in Key West or Naples...

Klaw, Key Colony Beach had no flooding, all the water went into the channels almost got to the lawns. Marathon got about 4' of water from 9:00 am to 2:00pm Monday.(Closed US 1 for awhile) Winds blew hard about 100mph lots of erosion on the ocean side. Where your place on Duck Key?
