Thank you JCPERF for the valuable advice!!
Your advice proved positive. The second motor was put on the dyno today with and without the spacer you recomended on the other thread. Increased horsepower and torque 10 hp/lbs. Now running in the low to mid 690HP and nearly 710 ftlbs of torque. Incredibly between 4000rpms and peak torque, torque numbers were between 17 and 20 pounds better than without the spacer.

I'm gonna get me a couple of those. Maybe you should try a stubstack from K&N for the top of the carb.
