Default Whipple install question

Live and learn!!!!

I bought a whipple kit for a 500 hp, carburated, from an OSO member. The kit is brand new and never used. I'm putting it on a 540. I did not know there are 2 types of oil systems. This one is oil fed. What is the best way to plum it? Do I "T" into the oil line after the filter? My prochargers the oil pan was tapped for return. I don't want to do this. The installation instructions say it can be returned via the valve covers. Is this a viable option or should I punch the pan?

Can it be run as a self contained? The kit came with a bottle of oil so I am a little confused

Also the crank pulley is wider than the belt. The pullies all line up but is it possilble for the belt to "walk"?

I called Whipple tech support but they have yet to return my call.

Everything else is going together well, just taking longer than expected.

Thanks
