Slightly off topic, but I need my Jeep Wrangler hauled from Albany CA to Fort Lauderdale FL NOW.
Anyone in the business or know someone that can do it asap?
I signed up, online, with a transport company, but now, 4 days later, I find out they do not promise a pick up date, unless of course, I offer to pay more money than what they quoted me for the job on their own website!!!
They are as bad as moving companies!!!
I do know about Reliable Carriers, but their cost is way more than most of the quotes I have gotten, of course theirs is first class service in an enclosed trailer (which I do not need for this car).
My quotes have all been under $1000 (open trailer).

You can say that again! Been in the trkg biz for 25 years and never ever saw rates high as now. I cant help you moving the car but if you do find a carrier understand the line haul rate PLUS fuel surcharge. Try to get this in writting if you can.
