Default thank god for twins!

I lost the port motor today on the Lake. I guess this is a lesson to pay attention to my guages more. it just burned up. I checked the guage when it was too late and it was at almost 200 deg. Thankfully we got back on the good motor. I had family on board too its so embarrassing when that crap happens. Oh well just an excuse to build a badass motor.

200 degrees won't overheat the motor? It could have been going further. Did you shut it off or did it quit?

I don't think 200 degrees would burn up a motor, more than likely something internal was siezing up.
