I do not have any paint on the boat currently. I wanted to add some more gel coat to the boat to get more color in it. Being a x shop teacher, my idea was to draw in pencil exactly where I wanted to add gel. Take a router that would make a cut about .080 deep. Route out the area and spray on the colored gel. Sand down & buff to a finish. I ran that idea by Joe, he did not think that was a good idea. Is that a dumb idea? You would not feel any lines. I hate to feel lines on a boat.
I also do not like the idea of adding 20 coats of clear to get the lines out.

I guess Rich will get the job. Bring out the finger paint set.
Looking at it yesterday, Still good looking boat but not too flashy. Who knows, need to come up with a idea before I can get a paint job.
