I don't think I could make it with 249 gallons LA to Hawaii. Are sails available for rent?

Sounds like fun, how big a boat can you ship? If you aren't going across in the boats, others might join in that have crusiers and then do fun runs for the bigger boats during the days....

Beautiful place to be. Not alot of boating just surfing because of the huge waves. They offer boat rides only on certain sides of the Islands where the wind comes off of the land.

you can ship any size boat you want.

as for the waves....you are right, you do nota want to be on the windward side of the island. But the right time of the year you can run from island to island with no problem at all.

still gathering information at this point. I think it would be a hoot to run and party on the islands.....

That would be the best poker run yet, but it would be the most costly one anyone has ever done. Not to mention, the boat insurance would not cover the boat. Most companies like mine, say that the boat is covered within 100 miles of the coast of the continental US. Hawaii would not be covered.

Some of our friends in SCOPE have talked about it too..
I think Maui would be the best because you could run to some of the close islands like Lanai....We think it could be done around 10-15k...It's fun to think about.
