Yea.. i guess you could call it a shutter.. you see and feel it in the dash..

If it was u-joints.. why when you change the props it switches to the other side...

If it is a shudder at the helm iy sounds to me like the steering sytem is leaking or sucking air somewhere. Did you bleed it well, run the steering lock to lock several times with the engines running ? Check all your connections and of course the simple stupid is it low on fluid?

are the prop shafts straight or do they have twisted splines?are the props them selves damaged anyway?if youve swaped the drives or props, not sure which, but to get them to spin the different diretion your problem seemed to follow!is correct?if so your problem is at the back of your boat. good luck

It goes away, regardless of prop direction, if you shut off either motor while you feel the vibrating?
Has anyone eyeballed the drives themselves while you are feeling the vibration?

Thats what i was thinking too. Do you have an external tie bar and is everything tight? Then check all 4 gimbal pins for any looseness.

We have look at while while trailerd and watched the drives while shutting off each motor.. acts like while transfering fluid is when it does it.. but like I said only on one side.. the other thing is... Rember when you trim up.. goes away... It's almost like its getting tooooo much pressure.. So we went from a 120cc helm to a 145cc in increase volumm.. that was the road we were going.. thought we had it fixed... but after one wot run,,, back to idle there it is... Lines all have been bleed.. NO Air..all bolts to spec's torque
