Pretty cool, although I wonder how efficient the jet drive is? I think a v-drive or ASD 6-8 would have been a better choice. Maybe the jet was chosen for ease of docking/braking the turbine.

That boat is on my lake, the owners name is Mark Nye....... he is probably the smartest guy I have ever met. He builds buckets for backhoes and did this for kicks. He has a websight www.nye.ca
The boat is a 23' Eagle river race boat, all polished aluminum. With a 900hp Chevy they run about 115...... he has a 1200hp turbine.
