How do I get EFI on my carb. engine???
Hello
I would like to know if there is anybody in here who know any body that have 2 sets of original Volvo Penta EFI systems (complet with ignition and wirering) for the DPX 500 or 8,2GSI for sale (used)? The reason is that i would like to rebild my 8,2GL with the new EFI system and ignition.....

Hello I forgotten to tell . That it is the same whits is on Mercuiser 500 HP EFI The blue one

Eric, first off welcome to the forum. the Volvo EFI system will be very hard to find here. there is only a hand full of people on the site that have them. personally i think that and the DPX drive are one of the best drive systems ever engineered but unfortunately our market is dominated by another entity and they never sold very well. what part of the world are you in? i race an Ocke Manerfeldt/Reindl batboat in OneDesign with the 320DPXi setup.
one other thing, i believe the DPXi drive has been discontinued by Volvo but im not sure about replacement parts. good luck.

Try and find TopDJ on the board. He purchased some motors from a guy that has TONS of that stuff. Not sure if he saved the guys number or not but worth a look up. The guy was extreamly knowledgable. I know he was in VA some place but other then that I have no info.
