Default XR Drive Spacers

I have XR drives on a 42 Lightning. I have 1 inch spacers in there, but now we want to try two inch and different props.

Does Mercury make a spacer kit?

Any recommendations for after market kits? Cost?

I want this thing to be reliable.

Thanks - Jerry

Hello,
I was just wondering what exactly the spacers do? How does the boat react with larger spacers?

Thanks, sorry for stepping in...

Spacers go between the upper and lower halves of the drives. The put the prop deeper into the water. They can be useful in reducing prop slip and increasing bow lift.

inda hard to see in this pic, but we have two one inch spacers on the Apache. When we first recieved it, the X factor wa so high, it was almost unusable! These spacers made her an entirly different boat! I have pointed them out in this picture, they are white.
