Default 28 Apache/27 Magnum

What would yall perfer to own if yall had the choice. Would ya perfer a 28 Apache brave or a 27 Magnum sport. why would you perfer the choice that you made. how do they compare and which one is better in the rough. i know there's a big difference in time with these 2. on the choice you make would ya perfer it single engine or twin. Another thing how much do yall think it would be to convert either one of these boats to a single engine, if ya have the drive and the engine already. thanks in advance

Magnum. Because of the right kind of heritage and background.

28 APACHE, but they only made 2 singles, Eric's old race boat and my buddy Hessdk's 2003 that just went up for sale. The 28 APACHE has a lot more freeboard. Mags are also a sweet boat but I think the 28 would be my pick. Or a 28 Saber.

I just bought a 74 27' Magnum Sport and am re-powering it with an Ilmor MV10-625 and ASD#6. In my opinion the Magnum is the longest, sleekesh, sexiest 27' ever made.
An Apache is the same hull with added freeboard, BUT, it's not a Magnum. To me it's like a 540K Mercedes... pricless.

I'm stripping the boat of everything. Except for the hull & deck, everything is going to be brand new, so if you need anything, let me know.

It was Eric Froberg's 28 it was on ebay a while this spring. It was in northern florida some where. I don't know where it went, but it was a cool boat.
