Default Pushrod problems

I was taking my engines apart for some winter maintanence and I found half of my pushrods were cracked. These are the reccomended Crane pushrods with pressed ends that you would use with a 741 Crane cam. They have about 100 hrs. on them. Any ideas what would cause this. My spring pressures are 150 seat and about 470 lb/in. The springs do not coil bind.

Manton's, Smith Brothers are both good products.

Had Comp Cams one piece 3/8 in my race motor, 290# on the seats, .785 & .810 lift, over 600 runs plus dyno time, never a failure, available in .050 incriments for any application. Was a 540 Super Gas drag motor.
