Isn't it amazing how hurricanes can read the calendar and not form after a certain date?

Kind of like the manatees down here knowing that after March 31 they need to be more careful.

It is a brand new house on a double lot and sustained no damage, but their nerves are frazzled for sure !!!!

Hurricane season isn't over yet. Just because Dec 1st. is tomorrow doesn't mean the storms stop. It just means that there's a greatly reduced chance of a hurricane.
After surviving last years three storms I pay close attention to the weather reports.
