A few names that I recall being involved were Bill Amadon, and John Goodhue

Were either of these guys racers in there own right? Does one of them do powerboat work for a living?

I think that Bob Gagnon - Silver Sands Marina, Gilford - was involved to some extent as well... You can call his son Chris (at Silver Sands) I'm sure he could help you - as Bob has passed on...

Thanks for the replies guys. The guy I am talking about would be in his 50's and delivered two boats to Miami for the Key West Poker Run, one of which was the Lilly's Nor-Tech named Defender.

Give Billy Amadon a call at All Pro Sports in Gilford... He is probably the guy you are looking for. He used to race a cat with triple Mercs... 603-293-0129

Bill is the guy. I met him a few years back when I was looking and a 10 Meter in Silver Sands. He was going to take a look at if for me. Seemed like a straight up guy. We talked at length about those races.

I don't know who put them on, but I miss them. They were such a good time!

I wish they would come back to the lake. Good racing close to home.
