Looking for 26-28' under 28k

Does anyone have or know of any early 1990's velocity/Thoroughbred 26'ers for sale? I'm looking to buy a 26-28' used boat for under $28k. The velocity is a perfect fit and in my price range, but i am open to other ideas if people have their boats for sale. I can't go above 28k no matter how nice the boat, otherwise i may face castration from my girlfriend.

I've been all over boattrader, powerboatlistings, and OSO classifieds and have a few leads but no solid winners.

yeah, i know its kind of slim pickings for reliability in that size and price range. So far I've found a couple of velocity's and a bunch of formula 272's and a couple of 27' fountains in my range. Luckily the government is graciously providing me with almost a full day of time to surf the web for a boat.

There's a 26 velocity down in florida that i'm gonna call about in a few minutes.

I have a 1996 280 Velocity with an 1999 HP500, (211 hours) with all the goodies: alum. trailer, 2 covers, GPS, battery charger, NEW stereo, 2 props, Eikert headers, Shotgun mufflers, New raw water pump, New Valve springs, retainers, and keepers, (installed by Express Marine) new plugs, fresh water flush , etc. 80 MPH!

It's a little more than the castration limit!

My buddy has a 1985 30' Velocity with twin Johnsons for sale. Great boat. $20000.

I've seen Bruce's boat here on the boards and it is beautiful and i love the pantera's, but if i remember correctly its a 3 person bolster boat. I need more space in the cockpit, my current boat is a 3 man boat and it's very limiting to my social boating style.
