Ghost Rider to Ride Again @ NY Boat Show
We have accepted an invitation to display the Ghost Rider as an historic exhibit at the New York Boat Show this year.
The GR offers safe harbor to all members who visit the show this year...............out of 40 years of retirement the boat will be on display at NYC for the visitors to see where you came from. Ghost Rider was the last and only Wooden Offshore World Champion with v drives and twin 750 turbo Daytonas to defeat all stern drivers, Mercury factory teams, Formulas, Cigarettes, Magnums, Donzis.........as well as Don A., himself............her reign was in 1966 and won in Europe, Bahamas and the USA............retired since then and just unwrapped after 25 years in a cocoon on her cradle...........this boat was your history...............see you at the show...................Barry

I met Jim Wynne at the NY boat show gawd knows how many years ago ... Amazing to know that his boat lives on and will now be there ....
Wish I could see it.. Hope pictures appear in the New Year !

My dad had a 22 Barneget Cruisers Inc Merc 233..by Jim Wynn. He also did the 24 GranBateau.
We took many trips across Lake MI in some bad weather and performed great. Was the 2nd fastest boat in Milw Boat Club, did mid 40's.
