I have a friend that is taking some clients out in KW for New Years and would like some suggestions for a very nice restaurant. In all the years I have been to KW I have never eaten in a nice place. Its always fast food and drinks.

You have to check out Kelley's!
Kelly Mcginness(sp), who was the blonde actress in Top Gun, owns and operates it. It's a really nice quiet resteraunt, great food and awesome atmosphere. They even make their own beer, which is quite tasty.

Louie's Backyard is not to be missed. We also ate at a place called Cafe Soleil that was good. Both are upscale.

Sunset Key (the island right off Mallory Square) is nice you can sit right on the beach, they have a ferry that runs from the Hilton. If you go to Louies Backyard reservation a must and tell them you want to sit outside on the deck. The bar outside is over the water, nice sunset views.

Sunset Key is a must if you are looking for a great restaurant. The bar outside at Louies was lost in Wilma, that whole lower deck area is gone. I say Sunset Key for sure!!!!!
