GEN VI roller lifters

GEN VI roller lifters
I noticed that 8 of the lifters have the number (906) stamped on the side of the roller and the other 8 have (946) stamped on the roller.
Is there a difference?? I thought they where all the same. Just kind of wierd that there is 8 of each...
