Looks awesome! Love the 3/4 shot of it going up the hill next to the water.

Good looking rig. When are you gonna get some bling for the rear of the boat? Gotta ditch the stock tips man.

Great looking setup!

The truck looks awesome with the lift (as does the 25 Outlaw, don't they all?!? ). Who's is it and how much height? I'm looking at RCD or CST (6") for my 2500 Avalanche. Are you happy with yours?

Ordering the tips this week. Thinking about the powdercoated tips in purple that I've seen on this site lately. Thoughts?

My truck. It's a 2005 2500HD with 7-9" Cognito lift, 6" Deaver springs, 1/2 ton green keys(just a little crank), 3" blocks, and Bilstien shocks. The tires are Toyo Open Country M/T 37X13.50X18 on 18X10 wheels. From the before and after measurements, the lift is exactly 10" higher than stock, plus the tires. I installed the lift with one friend. It was my first lift and his 3rd. Very straight forward. it's a differential drop, new spindles, and torsion bar drop. The lift measured exactly 7" when it was done. The RCD and CST aren't a true 6" lift, so remember that when buying tires. As mine sits, the tires do not rub at all, and I didn't lose any turning radius. It rides better than stock, especially in the rear, but isn't too soft for towing.

To answer you're question, I love the lift! I recommend them to anyone. Customer service is great. There are two guys that run the place (one is the owner), so you don't get lost on the phone if you do have trouble. www.cognitomotorsports.com

Thanks for the props

Thanks for the link. Their stuff looks good and they are local to me too (Bakersfield). You're running the 6" Deavers plus the 3" blocks? Your truck looks like it sits pretty level. How do you think my Avalanche would sit without the 3" blocks? (i guess I should ask them, huh? )

Did you change your gears? I've got 4.10's in mine now and don't want to loose the towing torque with bigger tires. I was planning on going with 34's but may go bigger with this lift. I would think 4.88's maybe?

I wanted the truck to sit higher in the rear, which it does by 1". The gears are still stock, but I need to re-flash the ECU for the tire size. Around town is okay with it, but I haven't been on the interstate with the new tires yet. 4.88 is what I'd go to if I did change. Without the blocks, mine sagged in the rear. I'm not familiar with the AV suspension, but most of my info I got was from gmfullsize.com. That's a great forum if you're not on it already. Good luck with the lift. Mine was worth every penny.
