Default Optima Blue Top Battery size question.

Will a Optima Blue Top battery fit in a stock 29 Fountain Fever group 27 battery holder. I really don't want to replace the battery holder unless there is a holder that will line up with the existing mounting holes already in the boat.

Thanks in advance.

I've seen it done before, the biggest difference is that the optimas are shorter so if your bolts aren't threaded all the way down you will have to buy allthread or some shorter bolts. Once you get the top low enough you can position the battery so that enough of it holds the battery down.
