Kilo Runs

Does anyone know where to get the "Rules & Regulations" or Guidelines that indicate the different classes of Kilo Runs ????
Also, do they have any predetermined schedules ??
Is this a APBA/SBI function ???

Kilo runs sanctioned by APBA/UIM are the only ones recognized worldwide. OSS may also sanction some form of them. Boats must conform to a specific class....and must have competed in.....a specified number of races in that class prior to the record attempt.
There are other kilo/GPS "records" sanctioned by various Poker Run groups..... These are less strict and controls are quite lax......

Do you know of any literature that exists or website that explains all of what you said in detail ?????
This is the first Post of seen from you in a long time. Thought maybe you were "Obsolete" or something.
Looking forward to Saturday night.

This gives the UIM details on records and kilos.
UIM Offshore rule book:
http://www.uimpowerboating.com/vsite...-0-file,00.pdf
Go to page 130
Start at Rule 600 "Records and Performances"
Hope that helps!

BK,
Looking at the UIM Rule Book for Kilo Runs, it's my opinion that the boats that run in the USA are not following those rules. Do you agree ?
I was interested in finding out about what rules and classes they run in the USA.
