They are right about one thing... I would rather hear the sound of a well tuned big-block running down the lake than just about any other sound on the water.

My theory has always been:

If you don't like the sound of jet engines, DON'T buy a house near the airport.

If you don't like the sound of a lawn mower or weed eater, buy enough property that your neighbors are far away.

These tree-huggers make me sick. When anybody complains to me about noise I'm making, I introduce them to the Mistletoe on the back of my shirttail.

I got to agree with Troutly. We either tone it down a little and my guess is a little is all it will take or they will keep coming at us and keep lowering and legislating tell it is just no fun to be on the water any more. Then what will we do? One thing about the artical that I do agree with is that there are a LOT more of them then us so no matter what we loose this battle.

For every person against "hp & noise" there are
alot more that love it !

There are better ways to express your thoughts then
calling names....ie homos, azwipes, pansies.
You would sound more creditable.
