Just curious to know if anyone has an idea of what a 2000 HP500 (carb) with 275 hrs. might be worth (real world number). Engine has been well maintained and never has had a problem.

Do the 2000 hp 500's have same valve train problems as the earlier ones. I would think they may have corrected it by 2000

Save a couple of bucks to put valve springs on it at 200 hrs it is due. Good engine make a low offer and see what happens winter tax time who knows.
