Looking at a 2002 37' Quad Step with KE 1,000's
How is the ride ... heard that they are tipsy??
Need some opinions

Heard that they were a little squirrelly in the turns. Sick boat though.

Nothing tipsy about it, the boat rides great. It turns like any other steped bottom boat, their are limits to how hard you can turn any boat. Normal speeds 55-80 mph no problem. You will have to run the tabs down over 100 mph, dont know about the single step boats, some of the other owners can say. If you get close to 100 mph and dont use the tabs, you will feel the boat move around on you.

I've been in a 37' Quad Step for many poker runs. It's the flamed painted one in the classifieds. I was extremely impressed with the handling in other boat traffic wakes for the short time we wouldn't be near the front. 3-4' wind chop doesn't affect the boat at all. 100mph feels like 50 in a Sonic.
