Default No boating today

With the strong north winds the last day the level of the Chesapeake Bay is down about 4 ft (tides go out but don't come back in). Looks a little low under the dock.

The "spilled" 3 million gallons of sewage into our creek a few weeks ago, so I don't think I'd take a shot at any oysters.

Yeah, I heard my big boat is kinda dangling from the dock lines right now. Hey Greg, get a shovel and pail and you can do a quick dredge around your dock

It is a very strange day on the bay. I saw three foot seas in the Susquehanna River and nothing but mud out 1/4 mile near Havre De Grace. With the water being down at least 4 feet (not even low tide) it is not normal. I never knew that wind could have such an effect...How often does this happen? I am relatively new to the area.
