Huge lake proposed between Omaha and Lincoln, wow!
Breaking news! I watched my local Omaha news tonight and learned that there's a new lake being proposed that would run from West Omaha towards Lincoln 26 miles long by 8 miles wide. When you think about it, that's a pretty good sized lake for the Omaha area, considering we have nothing. I'm pretty excited, anything to get off the Missouri River...

Its pretty simple New Orleans = Chocolate City (the words of their illustrious mayor not Ratmans) no whities allowed (only their $)

How deep wil it be? Will it be for a hydro electric damn? How many people will displaced? Can you get lake front property?
