Default 32 Excalibur History

I have a 79 32 Excalibur with a HIN NAP04385M79H engines are 78 castings in blocks and heads 454 series 400 borg warner TRS it is Biege with a brown stripe. The title states it is a Chris Craft but from what I read here it should be an Excalibur. correct? I am curious about the history of the boat itself. How many were produced in 79? And could anyone tell me how the legend proceeds the boat. Also I would like and other articles, pics, and or other information you all would like to share.

Thanks,
David

Likely, it is indeed a Chris Craft. CC had the molds for a while and were producing the Excaliburs under the CC name. Is yours similar to this one?

By the way. I think this is one HELLUVA deal!! I looked it over a year ago, and was ready to pull the trigger, but it sold. I'm guessing the buyer wanted to trade up so now it's back. $22K for this much of a boat is rare!

Hey 79excalibur,

I found yours pics. You do have your hands full with a project like mine. When I bought mine the interior and exterior were just finished by the previous owner. So really all that was left were all the mechanicals.Keep me posted on your progress as you go along.I love watching these projects being built.

Thanks Nordic95

Hello 79 Excalibur. If you click over to Excalibur question's and read from page one you will get all the info you are looking for. By the way, your boat is an Excalibur Marine produced boat. The first three letters in the Serial # are NAP which stand for North American Products, the corporate name for Excalibur Marine. The Chris's were after 1980 production.

Wouldn't every Excalibur been Bill Farmers boat for a while? (until it was sold to the first owner!)

My Boat is a 31 is a 1984 and my HID # starts with NAP! There isn't anything on my boat that says Chris Craft.

Hi David, where was that boat show located? And do you remember if the guy told you what color his 31 dual cockpit was? Grant.
