Default Floating Boatlift Recommendations

Hi,

I am looking for recommendations for a floating boatlift system for use in heavy saltwater conditions.

Any views or experiences to share?

Thanks in advance.

I have a bud that used a Jet dock for a 46 Black Thunder, it was nice but make sure you have 6 feet or more of water for a big Jet dock.

We have a jetdock that holds a 46. Heavy jersey salt water. We love it, can't say enough good things about it. Drive on and off like a car, you can walk completely around the boat to wash it or work on it. You do need five feet of water.

I had a 35' BeekBoat on a 12000# Hydrohoist. Only lift at the marina. When the storms kicked up, my boat moved less than all the others in the marina...including big cruisers. Very good company to deal with.

DO NOT DO THE CHEAP STUFF. I see guys all the time try to save some cash by going with a cheaper lift. They end up falling apart after about a year or two. So they end up spending more in the long run because in the end they go with the more expensive lifts. I don't boat in saltwater. There is a new guy in a slip next to ours with the airdock lift. It looks like crap. I will let you know how good it holds up.

Spend the money - you will save in the long run and not have any headaches.
